Optional Afternoon Activity
For those arriving in the Barossa early enough, Yalumba has kindly offered to take members through the Yalumba Nursery to see how vines are created ready to plant.
Yalumba Nursery was established in 1975 and is Australia’s most reliable source of quality grafted grapevines.
Located just a 5-minute drive from Tanunda.
Meeting Place: Yalumba Nursery, Cnr. Research Road & Nuraip Road, Nuriootpa
Meeting Time: 3.30pm
Welcome Dinner
The 2024 UWEA Members Meeting will commence with a welcome dinner at St Hugo.
We will enjoy a welcome drink, followed by a 2-course shared menu paired with St Hugo Signature wines.
This dinner has been sponsored by St Hugo, and generously offered to UWEA members at a subsidised price of $55 per head.

Meeting Time: 6:00pm
Transfer Time: Bus transport will be provided to and from St Hugo. The bus will pick up from Seppeltsfield Lodge at 5:30 pm and from the Barossa Weintal at 5:45 pm. Departure from St Hugo will be at 9:30 pm for the return journey to accommodation at the end of the evening.

The 2024 UWEA Members Meeting will be held at Seppeltsfield in their Dining Room.
Meeting Place: Seppeltsfield Dining Hall, 730 Seppeltsfield Road, Seppeltsfield
8:30am: Arrival, tea & coffee available
9:00am: Meeting commencement
10.45am: Morning Tea
12.30pm: Lunch
2.45pm: Afternoon Tea
4.00pm: Meeting concludes. Back to accommodation to freshen up for dinner at Yalumba!

Member Dinner
Please join us for the Member Dinner at Yalumba.
Yalumba are celebrating 175 years of family winemaking this year, and this is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this remarkable feat.
This special evening will include arrival drinks and canapés in the Yalumba Cooperage, dinner in another of their unique spaces, and an opportunity to tour their Family Museum.
You’ll be served a range of Yalumba wines and hear from Emma Terry, Chief Executive of the SA Tourism Commission, and Scott Hazeldine, CEO Barossa Australia.

The Barossa Famil
Join us as we visit two members in the Barossa Valley region.
First, we’ll visit Jacob’s Creek, one of Australia’s leading wine brands. Enjoy a tour their stunning cellar door, which features benchmark environmental design, and a wine tasting.
Then we’ll head to Artisans of Barossa. Artisans of Barossa consists of eight small winemakers brought together by a shared commitment to protect and promote the art of small-batch Barossa winemaking. Here we’ll tour their impressive space, enjoy a tasting led by Fraser McKenzie, followed by a delicious, shared lunch.
This famil includes tastings, lunch and transport, and has been generously sponsored by Jacob’s Creek and Artisans of Barossa. This experience is offered to UWEA members at a subsidised price of $110 per head. Please see payment link within RSVP form.

We encourage you to book your accommodation early to secure your preferred choice.
You are welcome to source other accommodation. We recommend that you stay near Tanunda so you can take advantage of the bus transport to the dinner at Yalumba, which will collect guests from CABN Seppeltsfield and Barossa Weintal.

TRANSPORT
UWEA is not providing transportation to the Barossa Valley. If you are arriving through the airport, it is best to pre-book your transfers or hire car.
For transfers, we have done a little research for you and found some small companies that offer both touring and airport transfers. Some don't have websites, but all come highly recommended by the Barossa Visitor Information Centre:

Uber will pick up from Adelaide Airport and take people to the Barossa, but they are not licensed to operate in Barossa, so can't pick up there.
We are providing transfers to each of the dinners, and the famil day. To get to and from the meeting on Tuesday we recommend that you car share with each other, or book a taxi. Here are the taxi details if you need them:
