It all started in 1997 with three family-owned vineyards in Main Ridge, all ten minutes by tractor apart.

Ten Minutes by Tractor is a winery, restaurant and cellar door located in Main Ridge, near Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula. Over the past 20 years, Martin and Karen Spedding have been the driving force taking Ten Minutes by Tractor on to become one of Australia's leading cool climate wineries. 

Having added more vineyards since its early beginnings, the Ten Minute by Tractor estate now houses six vineyards - McCutcheon, Judd, Coolart Road, Wallis, Spedding and Gabrielle. Each vineyard has its own unique character with different aspects, slopes, soils, altitude and winds which flow through the valleys up from Bass Strait. These little differences mean that while they may be ten minutes by tractor from each other, they are a world apart. 

At Ten Minutes by Tractor, their passion is great wine and great food. They offer a relaxed and intimate cellar door experience with in depth tastings where you can discover wines that are a true expression of the unique qualities and character of their vineyards. 

In the fine dining restaurant, an innovative menu is driven by fresh regional produce from local growers and farm gates, their kitchen garden and foraged items from their forests, hills and coastline, whilst the new Allis Wine Bar offers an à la carte menu or wine flights, coupled with small snacks and morsels to complement each wine.
