Behind the Scenes Tour and Premium Tasting
An experience not to be missed
Home to some of the oldest plantings in the Yarra Valley dating back to 1971, the estate is managed by Leanne De Bortoli and her husband, Stephen Webber, who is also the chief winemaker.
De Bortoli Wines was established in 1928 by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli in Bilbul, New South Wales. Since then, the De Bortoli family have purchased vineyards in some of Australia’s best-known wine regions including the Yarra Valley within Victoria. Now into its third generation of ownership, the De Bortoli family is committed to producing quality wines and they live by their motto, ‘Semper ad Majora’, which translates to ‘always striving for better’.
Sample the best of the latest vintage at the welcoming cellar door overlooking rolling hills and picturesque vineyards, or enjoy a platter of cheese with a sticky wine experience including a taste of the iconic Noble One Botrytis Semillon.
The winery restaurant 'Locale' reflects the De Bortoli family's Italian heritage in name and nature and offers Italian-inspired dishes that celebrate the abundance of local and seasonal produce available. Take a seat in the sunny dining room overlooking the vines to enjoy the very best the Yarra Valley has to offer matched with quality estate grown wines.
The Yarra Valley is renowned for the beauty of the changing seasons, and an exciting food scene that has flourished around its local produce. Located 50km north-east of Melbourne.
