Jacob's Creek Double Barrel Experience
Hosted tasting
Jacob's Creek was founded after Johann Gramp planted his first vines on the banks of Jacob’s Creek in 1847. His vision was to craft exquisite wines that would embody the essence of the grapes and the terroir. Today, this vision is upheld with the production of wines that eloquently reveal the distinctive personality of each grape variety, nurtured by the rich soil and abundant sunlight.
Now one of Australia’s leading wine brands, Jacob's Creek offers quality contemporary Australian wine styles with great varietal expression. Visitors can sample Jacob’s Creek wines as well as cellar door exclusives with a casual or structured wine tasting, learn about the region’s history and heritage in the interpretive gallery or enjoy a lunch at Our Table which offers contemporary Australian food matched to wine recommendations.
Jacob's Creek offers a memorable culinary tourism experience with a tempting combination of food and wine, and sweeping views of vineyards and hills. The stunning cellar door features benchmark environmental design, based on principles of sustainability, recycling and energy conservation.
Stay overnight at Jacob's Estate Cottage, providing elegant and modern lodging for a party of up to six individuals, while retaining much of its authentic charm.
The Barossa Valley wine region is renowned for its world-class wines and picturesque landscapes, located approximately 60 kilometers northeast of Adelaide, South Australia.
