Operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft, the thrice-weekly Jetstar service is a significant milestone, offering over 50,000 low-cost seats annually between Sydney and the renowned wine and surf destination. With flight times averaging just five hours, travellers can swiftly journey from Sydney to the tranquil vineyards of Margaret River.

This new addition is a welcomed complement to the Melbourne to Busselton flights that started in April 2022. Now, with both Sydney and Melbourne offering direct connections to Busselton, exploring our Ultimate Wineries—Leeuwin Estate, Vasse Felix, and Voyager Estate—within the region has become even more accessible. All three of our wineries are within an hour's drive from Busselton Airport, making it a breeze to explore their diverse array of winery experiences.

With the introduction of these direct flights and the variety of accommodation options available in the region, Margaret River has been transformed into a significantly more convenient and accessible destination for a long weekend getaway in this premier wine region.
